Reliable Google Calendar?

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to upgrade to the incredible this summer and am wondering how well google calendar works on this phone. My wife and I use google calendar for everything. I need a calendar that shows my calendar and my wife's. I have read about google calendar and the birthday problems.

Is google calendar on this phone reliable and will it show my wife's stuff and mine?

I synced mine INC phone's calendar to my ical (macbook) so I can input schedules to just one calendar, ical then updates to my google account on my phone and I get the calendar updates right on the phone. Been very reliable so far, haven't missed any appointments for everything scheduled...
