Remove 3G Mobile Hotspot from LGB v0.6

Anyone know where this .apk is? I want to remove it from my phone and can't seem to find it.

It's not in /system/app

If you find out, let me know. I know it is built into Gingerbread and to my knowledge, nobody has found a way to remove it.

Looks like all it's doing is calling the GB built in hotspot... guess I'll just hide the icon.

Thanks for the response. That TBH tether patch worked like a charm.

just FYI if you don't have the patch and try to tether, you will not have 3G connectivity until you reboot.

I just hide that icon in my app drawer. I read somewhere that with GB they integrated it into the status bar or something similar. Something they knew you wouldn't want to uninstall or freeze.

Not exactly sure what your question is... The 3G mobile hotspot app does not show up in my app drawer b/c I hid it with LauncherPro.

It does however popup when you activate the wireless tether app mentioned above. It doesn't seem to do anything but just sit in my notification bar, then goes away when I close it.

Settings/wireless networks i believe. The hotspot is in there instead of the app drawer. At least on my gb! It shows up in the status bar when active (blue icon)
