Remove Lock-screen Password

Hi,

I have been trying for some time, to remove the lock screen password. The stock solutions don't work as having entered my password the option to select None is
greyed-out, stating it has been disabled by administrator, encryption policy, or credential storage. The only device administrator Update Agent is disabled, I don't think I've opted to encrypt the device and I don't know what credential storage is. Your help would be appreciated.

Regards,

I have heard that same problem associated with using Exchange, something about the security requirements of active sync if my mind servers me.

If you are syncing with Exchange I think that's where the problem is.
