Replacement coming tomorrow, How do I transfer data and format?

My droid went through the wash. While it does boot up with a different battery, The screen is no longer backlit. So a call to assurion and a new one will be here tomorrow. I'm concerned about having all my info from my old phone being shipped off to who know where.

I agree that you do NOT want you info being available to someone else. I suggest mounting your Droid and copying everything off of the SD card onto your computer. If you can't mount and are willing to invest about $15 go to VZW and purchase a mico Sd card reader. Pull your sd card and use the reader to copy your data. Finally, I would make every effort to do a factory reset.
