replacement D-4 died today

Droid 4 new 159.00 with a 2 year contract
speaker in phone bad from the get go, sounded like a blown speaker, died little less then 3 months later, only speaker phone worked=other speaker on phone
replaced with a refurb last Thursday
Refurb puked 1 1/2 days later antenna bad not much signal and NO 3 or 4G at all
new Refurb coming tomorrow Verizon refuses to send a new phone , just a refurb
beginning to wonder???

Snowman, best of luck on this and keep us posted. So far I have been real lucky not yet having a speaker issue and signal has been at or above expectations. Heat from the phone at times of data use is concerning as I know it translates to battery consumption among other things but so far so good. One question - have there been any noticeable hardware differences between the two phones you have had?

it seems like the speaker in the newer one is really good quality compared to the first one
I got my first one the day they cam out so pretty fresh off the line
other then that no real changes

Well 4 days later and finally got the replacement
sent the replacement to my old address I lived at months ago , address was correct on account
then next day sent it to my X wife I divorced 9 years ago, wow where did they get that address from? good luck gettin' that one back!!
but yes today the refurb arrived and seems to work good 1st day,
speaker is good and good 3and 4 G signal
should I have just kept the Nexus I sent back? we will see?
