replacement Icons

I want to replace some of the icons on my droid with custom ones, but I don't want to use ahome as I really like GDE. Is there a way to do this? and how? Where can I find good replacement icons?

Grab the app better cut and then search androlib.com for the tons of free icons and icon packs.

The only way to change the icon though is if its on one of the homescreens.
