Reroot after OTA update?

Hi guys,

Both of my parents recently upgraded to Droid 2's and love them. As soon as they got them I rooted them both so they could tether.

My problem is that my dad did the OTA update on his phone and it unrooted it.

Is there any way to reroot it after the OTA? Or if there isn't currently, is there something in the works to be able to do this? I searched around but couldn't find anything about it.

You should be able to root with the sticky at the top of the Droid 2 Hacks section.

This method worked for me both before and after the OTA update when it was released October 28th.

Just root it the same way you did before.

I got it guys thanks. I ended up just rerooting it with z4root again.
