Resetting gives you 2.2?????

I have heard that if you do a factory reset, your Droid updates to 2.2. Is this possible, anyone try this here?

yeah let me know if that works because I still have not got a prompt for a 2.2 update (i also checked system update). I talked to a verizon tech and they said they had already started the roll out of updates, I guess it just has not got to me yet.

I'm very jealous of you. I first thought it would be too large, but after seeing it at Verizon I think its a perfect size for me. I wish I could get one.

Just did it about 5 minutes ago, and nothing. Pretty good idea, but didn't work for me at least not yet.
