Resetting Milestone to Factory Settings?

Hi, I may need to send my milestone out for repair (dust under screen), so was wondering how I would go about un-rooting the milestone and getting it back at factory settings, as I do not want it to affect the warranty.

Also, I feel that this forum would really benefit for a noob instruction section, with stickies on rooting and updating, lots of this information gets lost and search function is sometimes difficult to use.

Your best bet would be to reflash it using RSD Lite and an appropriate SBF file.
