Restarting the phone

No. But you I believe you have to do a little more than root your D2 to get a reboot option. The Liberty ROM has it and it runs a lot nicer than stock blur. Any particular reason for not wanting to root/ROM ?

If you hold the shift, alt, and del keys all at the same time on the physical keyboard it will reboot, no root needed

So kinda like a control, alt, delet on a computer... and its not that I don't want to root my phone... I'm just more worried that ill mess something up and end up with a paper weight lol...

I understand that you don't want to mess up your phone, I know I couldn't live without mine. I haven't heard of anyone messing up their phone by rooting it

If you root there is a great app called quick reboot. Worth It.

This has been my stance towards ROMs on my D2 ever since I got it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it... right?

Well... recently it's been kinda pissing me off, and honestly I'm tired of waiting for Moto to get its act together and finish GB official. As soon as university courses are over, Droid Does get a lot more thorough investigation on ROMs.

If it's not broke, don't fix it is sound advice, but once you jump on a rom you'll see that stock is a kind of broke. So fix it! All I'm saying is getting on a custom rom (I'm running liberty) will speed up and smooth up your phone. Its just waaaay better. Obviously, you need to research and understand how to get the phone back if something happens.
