Restore droid x to original rom

Hello,

I have a Droid X with system version 2.3.340 that I have rooted and installed Apex 1.4.1. To install that latest system update, I want to restore to the original ROM though I wanted to check if there were any details in the restore procedure that I might be missing.

I planned on backing up applications and data with Titanium rooted before restoring my first nandroid backup, unrooting the phone and then restoring applications and data from the Titanium backup.

Have I missed anything?

to restore... you can always just sbf... to restore/update...(i'd only suggest updating to .605... for rooting and romming purposes)

and one thing you overlooked... unrooting then restoring data... you'll be able to restore some data... like texts... but application data will not restore unless you have root permissions... so you can always restore applications and data... then unroot...

sbf or nandroid restore

Thanks for reminding me. I wanted to install the last update for the phone which was .604 I thought for my version. Then decide on a new rom or just leave stock but rooted.

Is sbf with sqlite reliable? I have a stock rom image prior to flashing.

the latest update for verizon droid x 621... if you update to that one... it kinda breaks allot of things...
if you want to root and rom with out problems... the update is 605... the 604 update is for the milestone x...(non verizon branded droid x)

to sbf... use rsd lite... extremely safe and reliable...
