Restoring nandroid with Gummy 2.5 w/ linear

I've seen this asked numerous times so I figured I start a new thread explaining how to fix the no service issue when restoring this nandroid.

Step one: restore nandroid- when this loads it will probably say no service.

Step two: boot into clockwork and reinstall gummy2.5.zip WITHOUT wiping data

Step three: reboot(if still no service try rebooting once more as I had to do this)

Step four: boot into clockwork and install linear.zip WITHOUT wiping

Step five: reboot

This should restore your service. It freaked me out the first time too so you're not the only one. Hope this helps and fixes the issue.

yep it worked.. thanks again.. kinda stinks you cant have the backup restore the excact way you want it but better then having to redo everything..

Yeah at least you didn't have to start fresh. Im a huge fan of linear and the first time this happened to me I wiped everything and started fresh and that's a pain in the a$$. Glad this helped
