Restoring old text messages on phone

All,

After I restoring my phone last night, I noticed all of my text messages I saved have disappeared. Is there a way to restore them back? Also, there used to be an app that contained email, text messaging, contacts, etc. It no longer exists. Do you know how to restore this as well?

The key here is "that I saved". How/where did you save them? (I use SMS Backup and Restore to save texts before I do a FDR)

There in lies the problem... I forgot to back all of them up

But, if I can't recover them, it's all good... The app included in Gingerbread that had text messaging, contacts, email, etc..., do you know if ICS has that same app?

About the only thing I miss about the iPhone was its near seamless backup & synchronization with iTunes. But you must use apps to backup your droid, which isn't all that bad.

Restore from your gmail, if you don't mind paying, there are lots recovery tools on google.
