Returning my droid: backup solutions?

I'm going to exchange my Droid due to a hardware issue (probably will get another Droid) and I'd like to backup everything. I have Titanium Backup and Rom Manager, which will both do backups, but I'm wondering if either will have data tied to this specific device which means that it won't work if I restore it.

Right now I assume that Titanium Backup will still work, but I'm more skeptical about the full rom backup.

Also, I'd rather not revert this phone to standard Android just to return it since they will just be wiping it anyway. Will they complain if I show up with a phone running a custom Rom? The issue I have is the one lots of people are seeing about the headphone jack cutting out, so the software is completely not related here.
