HTC One (M8)

Mixing a style and fashion and blending it in a device that is easy to grip and hold with one hand, the smartphone has dimensions of 5.76 x 2.78 x 0.37 inches. Moreover, despite the weight of the device being 160 grams, your hand doesn’t get tired when the device is extensively used.

With a 5.0 inch panel and overall pixel density of about 441 ppi, the resolution size of the display is 1080 x 1920 pixels.
The beautiful display does not only let you enjoy your multimedia content, but lets you enjoy the remarkable photos and videos you have recorder with your camera as well. Battery Life
Even though the non-removable Li-Po 2600 mAh battery featured on the HTC One (M8) may seem a bit too small for the hardware capabilities of the smart device, it is nonetheless powerful enough to help the device withstand more than 20 hours of talktime and up to 496 hours in standby mode.
Samsung Galaxy S5
One of the latest releases on the market and probably the most popular trending smartphone to date is the Samsung Galaxy S5. However, is the device actually more powerful than other high-end devices on the mobile market today, such as the HTC One (M8) or is the hype a bit too higher than its supposed to?

With its unique back textured surface and sleek style, a mix of business and casual, the smart device is suitable to any lifestyle. As the smartphone has dimensions of 5.59 x 2.85 x 0.32 inches and weighs only 145 grams it is easy to grip and hold with one hand even when extensively used.
Specifications
With a PayPal certified fingerprint sensor and being water and dust resistant, the Samsung Galaxy S5 stands out on the mobile market even at first glance. However, its true power is what makes the smart device so valuable. Under its beautiful casing of the Galaxy S5 lies a Quad-Core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 processor, backed up by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, Adreno 330 GPU and as much as 2GB letting you run smoothly any application on the mobile market, including the latest high-end mobile games.

Featuring a powerful 16 MP camera, the smartphone is able to capture every moments of your life in photos with astounding quality. Moreover, it is one of the few devices that supports video recording in the futuristic UltraHD 2160p at 30FPS.
Battery Life
Everything on the Samsung Galaxy S5 is powered by a rather small for a high-end device Li-Ion 2800 mAh battery. However, despite being small, due to the symbiosis of the hardware and software the device is able to withstand over 390 hours in StandBy mode and about 21 hours of talk time.
Overall
Even though at first glance the Samsung Galaxy S5 comes off as a clear winner, because of its powerful camera, the HTC One (M8) is nonetheless a worthy competitor. With both smartphones having remarkable displays, powerful hardware and decent battery life the real choice lies between which design and which manufacturer you like better.
