Rezound verse my iPhone 4S, help me make a decision.

I will try to make this as brief as possible.

Basically it comes down to this, on Monday, Verizon is giving me the opprotunity to purchase a Rezound with a new two year contract for $150.00 because of some complications I have had with them for the past couple months.

The main question is, what can this phone offer me in addition to my iPhone 4S besides LTE? This would be replacing my MiFi, but unfortunately I would not be eligible for unlimited data plans for unlimited hot spot for $30.00 a month. Basically Verizon sales rep persuade me to buy a mifi when I wanted the ThunderBolt because of the TB problems at the time. If I would have went ahead with the TB at the time, i would have had unlimted internet and hot spots. I should of went with my gut, but made a HUGE mistake.

So I am trying to see if there is any reason why I should add a full phone expense each month instead of the $50.00 I am currently paying for my MiFi. The way I look at it now is if I do, do this my phone bill will probably be over $100 bucks for internet and talk even tho my main phone is ATT iPhone 4s. I've always had the itch, so let me hear it!

Thanks in advance!

just a bigger screen....the 4s is a nice phone....screens a little smallish though. If you enjoy your 4s just stick with it...if you want a larger screen then get a rezound....

So you got hoodwincked by Verizon, can't believe you got rid of your unlimited data, and no the Rezound has more going for it than your outdated iPhone 4s.

Wow...

#1 - Never had unlimted from Verizon so I didn't exactly give it up.

#2 - So tell me what "More" is that the rezound has going for it like I asked?

The Rezound has a larger screen and more pixels per square inch. The CPU is clocked faster. Beats audio. I have to admit I thought the beats audio was just a marketing ploy. But I was wrong. With the beats engaged the volume was boosted and the music was very clean. When the beats was shut off you could really tell a big difference in sound quality. The removable battery and sd card. We are getting ICS the first of the year.

OIS relies on gpu not CPU like Android.

I currently have both phones, iPhone 4S on AT&T w/ unlimited data and the Rezound w/ unlimited data (started of off with the MiFi 4510, made the plan switch before they got rid of the unlimited plan, popped my sim in a friends thunderbolt and switched my plans online)..

iOS has a VPN w/ group name shared passkey that Android doesn't support that I need for work (Our Cisco licsense does not support AnyConnect Mobile). HSPA+ is definitely faster than Verizon 3G network. Yes the iPhone hardware is out dated compared to most Android phones but the platform with the most software usual wins out.

I love my Rezound, the form factor, screen resolution, removable battery, extented battery option, micro sd card, radio strength, beats audio and screen size that wasn't overly too big to fit comfortably in hand (i have pretty big hands) is what won me over when I purchased my LTE phone on Verizon.

If the iPhone had LTE and HTC internal hardware w/ Android dev support it would be the perfect marriage!

I'm in a similar situation. I'm a 2 year Incredible user that just upgraded to an iPhone 4S - never had an iPhone before, and after hearing all the reports already about the Rezound's bad battery life after dealing with the Incredible's battery issues, figured I'd check one out. After 3 days, I LIKE the iphone but don't LOVE it. It doesn't feel like MY phone, just feels like a NICE phone. I've toyed with a Rezound in a store, but that really doesn't tell me anything other than that I like the physical build/feel of the Rezound.

I don't have long to make up my mind whether to keep the iphone or swap for the Rezound. It's a really tough decision. I, personally, don't care AT ALL about Beats, so that's not a factor. Siri either. My main concerns are being stuck for 2 years without 4g, and not being able to personalize my phone. The Rezound's battery issue is really mostly what's keeping me away. I don't want to use a bulky extended battery or carry around a spare. I don't mind charging the phone every night while I sleep, but I don't want to have to charge it all day long, either. It doesn't help that the iphone 4S is a really sleek piece of hardware.

Hope you have an easier time making your decision than I am.

If you enjoy the fluidity of your iphone... ease of use.. not bloated out with "beats" which is a effin gimmick... considering bionic and rzr can both equalize just as good and globally to all the audio not just thru the beats player.....i would suggest not going with the rezound.. my girl has one.. and its just not smooth.... idk what they did to sence 3.5.. and im sure im guna get flamed here by htc fanbois...but its not smooth ...my bionic makes my girls rezound look sluggish. Now the screen is amazing. Dont get me wrong ...but at the 1.5ghz clockspeed you would think it would be butter.. but idk it just isnt.. screen amazing.. but its bulkiness ..its grumpy sence 3.5...lower quality than 4s camera
. idk if you'd be happy. Iphone is soo smooth...like my bionic :). And to someone saying ios depends on gpu.. this is true but all the dual core lte android phones are getting ics. Which will be a gpu accelerated os.

Oh And in response to the 3g and h+ comment... h+ may be slightly if any at all faster than 3g.... (i get 2.7mb/s on 3g.. my friends inspire gets no faster than 4.5ish with full h+)...lte is sooo soo much faster. Its pretty sick. So idk. These are my experiences only and i mean no disrespect to rezound owners.
