Right side of touchscreen is not working

For some reason the right side of the touchscreen does not respond. It is only about an 1/8th of an inch of the screen, but it is enough to impair my usage of the phone. It has done it from the day I pulled it out of the box but
I have just looked past it. I would send it back but I have already rooted it and installed a rom. Is there a way to calibrate the screen? Any help would be awesome. Thanks

The only thing i would know to do about that would be to get a new one if
part of the screen is "dead"
