RILD using 22% of the battery! What? Why?

My battery life went from totally manageable to very troublesome and I notice RILD using 22% of it. This appears to be something to do with Motorola's dialer. Not sure what's up with that but is this a known bug? Is this some sort of virus? Anyone have any ideas?

I noticed RLID using battery out of the blue. Went away though....
