Hello,
I just got a Droid and I'm currently sitting here with 3 phones... the Droid, my iPhone, and my home phone. I was playing around with Google voice to make sure all the calls were being directed as they should be, and in making a call from my iPhone to the Droid, I noticed that the Droid wouldn't start ringing until about 10, sometimes 15, seconds after I initiated the call from my iPhone.
So I went ahead and tested this out using my home phone, calling from the landline into the Droid... it exhibits the same behavior.
Calling out from the Droid is fine. Calling from the Droid to my iPhone or land line, the recipient phone begins ringing within 2 or 3 seconds after initiating the call, so I don't believe this is a network/bad reception issue.
Anyone else experience this behavior with the Droid?
Oh, also, this behavior is consistent whether I'm calling into my GV number or directly into the Verizon issued number.
