Ringer issues

OK, first of all, all volume levels are up. When I get a call, the phone tries to ring then goes silent. My ringer is set on "Verizon Default" tone. Also, when I open a text msg that has sound, I hear nothing. My text msg notification works fine. Just the ringer is screwed up.

From what I'm seeing..there are a lot of people having this issue. Me included. I haven't found a solution yet. Do a search and many posts come up on this topic.

Just a thought, there is an option under sounds that will auto lower the ringer volume when the phone is picked-up/ moved, once it starts ringing. Make sure that option is off.

Im on Froyo and I don't see this feature under the sound options.

This thread is in the Incredible section so I was assuming ya'll were using Incredibles, where that is an option in settings called "Quiet ring on pickup".
