ringtone download Q

Purchased a ringtone from Verizon online via my pc. Received a text message from verizon on my droid including the ringtone but the only thing it allows me to do is play the ringtone. How do I save it my list of ringtones and assign it to a contact?

should've just downloaded ringroid and make your own custom ringtones for free.

i believe if you hold down the ringtone there should be a "save as" option

never received an mms on Droid yet

Same here and I've emailed Verizon requesting a solution or a refund. So far I've found no way to move the ringtone from message to the phone or set it as a ringtone on the Droid. Solutions anyone? Will download it free next time

Use ringdroid easy to use or make your own via pc using audicity

If the ringtone was sent in a MMS you should be able to 'long press' on the message, and 'copy attached to SD card' should be an option which will save the file to your SD card.
