I have the CM10 ROM that was released on the 24th and a ”Refreshed” CM10 was released today. I'm wondering if I still have to do a full wipe on safe strap or can I install the ”Refreshed" one over the previous one?

I cleared cache and installed over the other one but I am not sure what the difference between the two are but mine is running just fine

Oh okay, thank you! And he said on hashcode said it was to check if the scripts were working the so there weren't any real updates. Will clearing the cache clear any of my data such as contacts or apps?

Just wipe cache don't do a factory reset and everything should stay the same contacts, wallpaper, ringtones and so on
