ROM Manager Help

I recently rooted my Motorola Droid using SuperOneClick. As far as I know, the root was a complete success; all apps that require root work so far. I downloaded ROM Manager in order to use it to flash Cyanogen Mod and I flashed ClockworkMod recovery. I did a backup of my phone and that seemed to work and I think I did everything else necessary to flash Cyanogen. I then tried to boot into ClockworkMod, but all that appears is and image of an Android phone next to an exclamation point and the only way to get out of this was for me too remove the battery. I've tried this several times, and the same thing always occurs. Any suggestions?

Try and reflash cwm again. Sometimes it wont stick the first time.
