Im having the same issue....I want to install a new kernal and always go through rom manager to do it. any help here would be great

RoM manager does not work with V5... your kernels are already on your Sd Card right? just reboot into recovery by holding X and install that way.

Oddly enough no lol. I install all my roms myself. But I have always always alwaaaays used rom manager to install my kernals

so you rownload them through rom manager, then install?? well unless you have cleared downloaded cache they are already on your SD card.. in recovery select install from zip, choose zip, clockwork... then prowl through all the folders there untill you find your kernels author and they should be in there.

I dug around in there and couldnt find any kernals just a few files from way back when I rooted back in january lol oh well Ill find some kernals to push to my phone

for kernels.. download to pc and install that way. its faster for me. I didn't really use rm for much other than fix permissions which I do in terminal now. also I know Chevy kernels in rm will give ya boot loops. u need to dl his older ones... not from index2... which is on rm

even with a regular rooted phone.
the problem with that is if you download kernels from the purchased section you won't find them searching through it that way.

because...then you could take kernels and ROMs and share with friends...and that would be wrong...:icon_eek:

Are you serious???

You do know that every single kernel in Rom Manager is free to download on most of these forums, right?...

Every single thing offered to download in Rom Manager Premium is free to download from the forums and from their servers...

Wow, just wow...
