[ROM] x911 for Droid X

Hey everyone I'm starting my new project for Droid X called x911. I am at the very beginning stage of this so I figured I would invite everyone to add some input, give requests, etc. I will also need some beta testers in the future. I decided to do this because none of the other roms had exactly what I was looking for. The home for this rom and where all comments/requests etc will be at http://www.thevideomole.com . Just add me and you can easily follow my wall to see whats going on. Also the new group I created to follow there is Droid X Lovers. Thanks.

Yea, might wanna think of a new name, 911 has some historical connections in the world today... plus if you mean the emergency number 911, they are dumb. I called once and they had no idea where I was located based on the store I told them... hell, you just have to google it and bam, there he is...

It's a forum. What do you expect?

The fact is that the name will probably turn people away from the get go. If you want to have a successful rom it would probably be best to change it.

Also instead of linking us to another sitem why not do the development & testing with droid forum folks?

Simple, I would like to share this with all the android community, not just this forum. So for my time sake, I can have everyone keep track of the status there, and if they like, announce it to their forum of choice. And if someone doesn't like the rom because of the name, don't use it. To me, a successful rom is something I like, just figured I would take input/suggestions from other users who may be interested. But hey it's a forum right, or should I say the internet right?

id be more than happy to help test whatever youd like, as far as being a dev...im far from that

for the name, well while x911 sounds cool aside from the fact of 9/11 I believe it will turn quite a few people off just because of the tragedy associated with 9/11...your the maker of the ROM its your choice but it may be something to consider

I do believe you need to have a vote system for the name of the ROM.

I agree dude, don't listen to the trolls, do what you do and do it well. Ill be down for trying anything you cook up as I am not pleased with anything that has been produced as of yet.
