root directory needs spring cleaning

I'm not the world's biggest 'neat-freak', but I do enjoy keeping all of my directories straight and organized on all devices I use.

My question is, what directories found on my SD card are absolute keepers? after one night stands with so many apps downloaded, my SD card looks terrible, which directories do I really need to stay put if I was to clean it up?

I know I shouldn't move my Nandroid folder, can you think of any others?

I use a Mac which for some dumb reason adds files to my SD card. I've been able to delete many for example Trashes.
