Cant use z4 root to root phone. It crashes. after i sbf back to froyo Off gingerbread. Can any one help??

So you sbfd from gb to stock froyo and tried to reroot with z4 and its not working? Hmm. I have not gone to gb yet so I don't know how that would affect it.

I had no issues with it. I also went from GB back to Froyo and used Z4. No issues. Now I'm on the latest GB leak.

Try gingerbreak for root (works on froyo). You can find it over on XDA forums.

Hope I got the right thread for this? Not a big problem. More annoying than anything. I was rooted unrooted to get the ota. Never did custom roms yet only I changed was CPU(overclocked) and add blocking changed CPU back to default settings before unrooting forgot to turn off add blocker now every time reboot my DX goes into clockworkmod recovery and my understanding is it shouldn't if I'm not rooted. Do I need to re root turn add blocker off? And thing is its still blocking all adds!

As for z4 being bad I don't think so. I have come to find out thaymt on my phone. After I sbf I can't root right away. I waited a week then retried and I'm rooted. Very odd I know.

But I hope this helps others with my problem
