Rooted DInc issues

Last night, finally my wife gave me the green light and allowed me to root her DInc. Everything went pretty easy. I flashed UD8 and everything was up and running as supposed, well almost everything. I just can't make the front 4 bottoms (back,home,menu, and search) to "turn on" or light up.
Is there any special tweak I'm not aware of that I need to do in order to get this back on. I will really appreciate any help. Thanks

Weird, I flashed ud8 on my moto droid and my keys light up no problem.

Yeah I understand, I have UD8 on my D1, I really like UD's ROM's that's why I choose the same for her, but I just cant make it work again.... :icon_evil:

I would suspect it might be a rom issue. Try another one and see if they start to work.

Yea, could be a rom issue with the dro inc, find a rom made specifically for dro inc.

If the ROM he is using wasn't made for the DINC it wouldn't even boot, so...
