Rooted droid 2 stuck in airplane mode need help!!!

i just rooted a droid 2 and flashed the liberty rom onto it and now its stuck in airplane mode. apparently the backup didnt work and now i dont have the backup for the original root. what do i do? ive tried downloading a stock fom but when i try to install it just sits at install in bootloader mode and does nothing after. and advice or anything would be very helpful!

I rooted my droid 2 last night and its stuck in air plane mood...the os was the most recent liberty ROM....i have no back up ROM because it got wiped when i tried to install a new ROM...please help me
