So I constatntly get low on space warnings text memory full errors.
I have moved everything possible to the SDCard
Running Froto 2.2
Sapphire-0.8.4
Build FRF84b

No Idea what to do so I ran Disk Usage and see that there is 262 megs of data on the phone! WTF! I have next to nothing installed? I started going directory by directory to see if I could find some file causing all this.

Here's where it gets weird...using Astro I went into my sys/devices directory, then as I clicked a directory in there it seemed to go up, not down, but each time I clicked the directory name got bigger and it just keeps repeating! It seems I have several directories repeating them selves here.

Anyone seen this? it kind of looks like this:

sys/devices/omapdss/display0/driver/display0/driver/display0/driver/display0/
driver/display0/driver/display0/driver/display0/driver/ (etc...)

I have at least three directories doing this, can I just delete the devices dir?

TIA.

Chris

Sounds like a possible ROM problem. I see in your list that you have Sapphire .8 installed. I believe they have updated since then. I would suggest you try to install an updated ROM and see if the problem persists.

Well it won't let me delete the directory...so flash a new rom after I back-up with Titanium.

I'm running the same version of Sapphire. I have not issues. Have you considered using a cache cleaner? It will free up a lot of memory.

UD 8 had he most free space on my phone. in excess of 100mb with almost 200 apps installed. now I'm constantly moving apps to the sd card in newer versions.
