rooted droid x shat now

I bought a already rooted droid x.... what do I do now? What can I do with it? Also what's the best way to extend battery life?

I'll put you in the correct section. You can get rid of bloatware, install Custom ROMs, install apps that require rooting, you can over clock. But what you need to do before you do anything is understand what rooting is and what all these other terms I'm talking about are. Check out the hacking section for the Droid X. That's where I'm going to put this thread.

get an ad blocker, then a wifi tether off market. should be free.

then research custom roms, say liberty, fission, apex

you can change the boot animation, boot screen, apply themes designed for your rom you are running.
