Rooted droid x still able to receive offixial froyo update?

Hi, if I rooted my droid x can I still get the official froyo update when it comez out? Like will it still appear automatically through notifications or something?

Just rooting won't stop the update

rooted yes, you'll need to move SU from bin to xbin probably but it should work. If you have a custom theme installed or have removed the bloatware you'll have to reinstall/rename and revert the theme to stock in order for it to work. The update should work exactly like the leaked update.
