Rooted. Now how do I overclock?

Hello all.

I just rooted my D2G this morning with the Z4root app. Now I'm interested in overclocking my phone but I can't seem to find a straight answer. Do I need a different ROM plus the Jrummy app to accomplish this, or will the Jrummy app alone accomplish this?

From what I've gathered. SetCPU won't work for this phone.

SetCPU will work on the Fission ROM (IIRC). You need Jrummy's OC app if you are using stock ROM.

 

[Droid DOES!!]

Jrummy's app works whether you're on stock rooted ROM or not actually. SetCPU won't go any faster than stock but Droid Overclock will...and allow you to change voltages
