Sorry guys. I'm new as you can see. Just got my incredible a few days ago and don't know exactly what rooting does to a phone? Is that like unlocking it?

Also, can you please tell me how to delete the songs that came preloaded on the phone?

I dont think you can unload the pre-loaded songs until you root/jailbreak
