RSD Lite and Un-Rooting

I hate to be the 'noob' to bring up frequently asked topics, but this is something there really hasn't been an answer for. My phone (Droid 2) will not be recognized by RSD Lite 4.7+patch installed. How if there is any way can I fix this, I would love to know so I can un-root for good.

did you download the motorola drivers along with rsd lite? if you have and it still isnt working, leave the phone plugged into the pc and turn it off and on while plugged in, this should install any additional drivers that are needed, but the moto drivers are important so make sure to do both. Then if I remember right, another driver will be installed when you put your phone into bootloader mode, flash driver or something.

I have the drivers, I rebooted my PC, but not with my D2 on. Also, do I really need to get my D2 into bootloader? I'll try it, hopefully it works. Thanks for the suggestion however.
