Rumor has the Galaxy S6 Plus arriving way sooner than expected according to one new report from the Italian site HDBlog.

The device is rumored to be a bigger version of the Galaxy S6 Edge. It may come equipped with a 5.5-inch curved AMOLED S6 Edge style display, a Snapdragon 808 processor, a 16-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and 32GB of storage. However, it may not support Samsung’s S Pen stylus.

Some manufacturers (Huawei, Microsoft, and HTC) have started launching two versions of select phones. One around 5 inches in size and another that’s 5.5 inches or bigger. Samsung just may be joining with its own Galaxy S6 Plus.

If you were thinking about upgrading to the GS6 or GS6E and want a larger screen, you may want to wait as a formal announcement may be just around the corner.

What are your thoughts?

The Whole Point of The Note Series is the Larger Screen and S-Pen. Doing this for the S-Series is pointless. Besides the Note 5 is just around the Corner and I wouldnt dare throw my money at an S6 when if the Rumors are true the Note 5 will be Epic

Jeffrey nailed the reasoning for this, but it's still irritating. As others have pointed out, the Note series is Samsung's "Plus" phone. They were the ones who pioneered the phablet-sized devices for crying out loud! Now, they are effectively copying Apple again, and they don't really need this. GRRRRR...
