S3 vs Nexus 7: browsing speed?

I was just wondering, for those who have both devices, how the web browsing speed compares. I just bought a Nexus 7 from amazon (2013 model). I am guessing the Nexus 7 would be much faster at opening web pages or playing videos from the internet. I'm looking for user experience, not mechanical benchmarks.

On a side note, what would be a good forum to post with questions about the Nexus 7? I love this site but it appears to be for smartphones only, not tablets.

Considering the generation gap of the hardware, the Nexus 7 should be snappier.

I have the S3 and Nexus 7 2013. I can't fairly compare the two because of access speeds. My 4G is faster than my wifi. Previously converted my S3 to Qi wireless charging. Now using same hardware to charge my Nexus 7.
