Hello I was wondering if anyone might of had this issue and resolved it? I have a Droid and I just purchased the Motorola S9-HD bluetooth headphones, I am able to PAIR and Connect with no problems and the sound is great however the headphone controls are useless (all they do is beep). The only way I can adjust the volume and switch songs is through the DROID. I would really like to be able to use my headphone controls and any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have the same issue too...at first i thought it was the S9 HD, but i tried with my other S9 (older model) and i am getting the same issue ARGHHH ....someone on the forum said that the BT on the droid is not fully up and running yet and they are still working on that :(
What makes me made is that both device are MOTOROLA....i mean come on ...tests should have been done before release..right?

I just did a quick read through on the instructions. Do these have multiple modes like the 305s do? I had a similar problem with my s 305's til I realised that they have three operating modes.

If you happen to use these while working out (AKA...sweating) then it is a know issue the controls stop working...My S9 gave out on me after only 2 weeks use...the sweat causes the controls to not work...mine was just the UP volume control

Consider yourself that is your only issue. Yeah i didn't get and still don't have full button control on top of the beeps that i get. Its seems to varies somedays. But i already started the process of returning this one for another pair. Lets see if its the headset or the droid itself...

It would really suck if sweat is the cause of my problem, being that these are advertised as made for work outs.

my regular s9 has been working great since i got the droid on launch day. no problems with the controls. mine haven't been exposed to moisture.

are you guys using the oem media player, or some other media app? maybe try removing it from the saved bt settings and then add it again?

Do a google search for "motorola S9 volume broke" or any variation. There are many complaints, one of which on the Motorola forum. One of the Motorola reps replied saying that they are aware of the issue...but then they released the S9-HD without fixing the problem...The S305 is Much nicer for workouts IMHO

Well problem fixed! It seems like the problem is with the stock media player. After looking around the web and other forum posts I downloaded the Meridian Player Noble from the marketplace and all of the music controls VOLUME,NEXT/PREVIOUS TRACK, PLAY/PAUSE from the headphones work. Thanks for the help.
