Same My Name app ????

Im just wondering if anyone has this on there phone. I cant get it to say the name of the caller only there phone number and if i uncheck the read my number option then all it will say is unknown??? when i click on the app icon it says TTS installed everything should work fine... So is this app supposed to just say the number or am i missing something in my settings?

Are you using Say My Name for Eclair, the one that just came out today?

If so, I have the same problem as you. I was using Say My Name for Donut, which did announce names. I upgraded to the Eclair version and it would only announce phone numbers.

I went back to Say My Name for Donut and everything was working again.

I sent the developer an e-mail noting this.

The Donut version never worked for me when I unchecked SMS.

I didn't check to see if the Eclair version fixed that or not.
