Samsung Announced 5 New Colors for the Samsung Galaxy S4

Just yesterday, Samsung announced five new colors that the Galaxy S4 will soon be available in. The phones will have the same internals, but will simply offer a new back cover with new colors. The newest colors are the following:

• Blue Arctic
• Brown Autumn
• Pink Twilight
• Purple Mirage
• Red Aurora

For the average user, the need for a variety of colors may seem unnecessary, because what matters is the functionality of the device. Still, smartphones have become a very personal reflection of many users' personalities, so splashing a dash of color doesn't hurt. It does make you wonder why Samsung didn't just launch from the get-go with multiple colors. This is a reason to be wary of becoming an early adopter of new technology.
