Samsung confirmed this morning in an email to PCMag that the smartphone maker will not be hosting a press conference at Mobile World Congress. Samsung is well known for its extravagant events at MWC, and with the success they have enjoyed this past year, we believe they are ready for their own stage. Apple is doing it and Microsoft is about to embark on the same journey, so it's only fitting if this is the strategy they are pursuing. The South Korean Company will still have a presence at MWC, and it is anticipated that they will unveil their new tablet based on its blazingly fast Exynos 5250 processor and discuss evolving Bada into Tizen.

Samsung's Bada/wave press conference was something crazy.
