According to the latest Samsung Galaxy Alpha intel, the device has been tipped to be coming to at least two U.S. carriers. Several new model numbers of the phone have been uncovered. SM-G850F is the originally leaked model number, but we also have the following: The SM-G850A (which is believed to be the AT&T version), and the SM-G850T (which is likely the T-Mobile version).

A couple more models were spotted as well: SM-G850H and SM-G850M. The SM-G850F and the SM-G850H are expected to be the international versions of the device, while the SM-G850M remains a mystery. Here's a recap of the specs for this device which is being described as the "iPhone 6 killer."
  • 4.7-4.8-inch 1280 x 720 display
  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  • Two different processor versions: one clocked at 2.5GHz, and one clocked at 2.3GHz (one is likely their Exynos while the other will be a Snapdragon 800 series).
We aren't sure if this will qualify as an "iPhone 6 killer," but it appears Samsung plans to pit it directly against the iPhone 6 by "heading Apple off at the pass" with an August 13th reveal date. Their's even a UK online retailer taking preorders for the phone. Let us know what you think of Samsung's "premium" device.
