Samsung made it clear that they plan to launch the Samsung Galaxy S5 alongside the Galaxy Gear 2 in 150 countries on April 11th. Several carriers across the globe have already chimed in with some of their plans for the device. Here's a breakdown of launch info for North America, the UK and Australia:
- The U.S. = Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, MetroPCS and U.S. Cellular have all announced plans to have the device available sometime in April.
- Canada = Bell, Fido, Rogers, Eastlink, MTS, Koodo, SaskTel, Videotron, Virgin Mobile, TELUS and WIND Mobile have all confirmed they will carry the handset at some point. Only Bell mentioned an April date.
- The UK = The carriers EE, Three and Vodafone have announced they will have the device. The retailers Phones 4U and Carphone Warehouse also confirmed they will carry it.
- Australia = Optus, Vodafone AU, Telstra and Virgin Mobile have all announced the device will appear on their network.
