We have a couple of juicy bits regarding the Samsung Galaxy S6 this morning. First up, there are rumors coming out of Korea that because the Galaxy S6 will be thinner than its predecessor, it will have a slightly smaller 2,600 mAh battery (as opposed to the 2,800 mAh batter in the Galaxy S5). According to the report, Samsung is making the new Galaxy S6 about the same thickness as the iPhone 6, which is 6.9mm.

Of course, if Samsung's Exynos 7420 is as energy efficient as they claim, then it might not matter that much that we have a smaller battery. As a bonus, we included these great fan-renders of the Samsung Galaxy S6 found on GottabeMobile. They have been carefully detailed using the latest leaks, so they could be very representative of the final design. One of them can be seen above, and the rest are on the thread below.

I'm all for minimalist design, but come on! Between the weak battery and ho-hum appearance, Samsung needs something juicy to really catch buyer interest.
