The latest update to the Samsung Galaxy S7 included a feature that is buried within the settings. It's called Display Scaling, and it basically does what it sounds like. It leverages the phone's QHD capabilities so that folks can see more info on their Galaxy S7 screen for their preferred view-ability.
The display scaling includes two modes: standard or condensed. The condensed mode basically shrinks everything down a bit (text, controls & icons). This allows you to view more content on your screen (although it may require a magnifying glass for those without perfect vision).
Originally, this "feature" was available through a third party launcher shortcut; however, it looks like Sammy liked it enough to make it official. Nifty!
