Pre-order sales for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have already exceeded Samsung's robust expectations. According to a brief report from Reuters, Samsung already had slightly higher pre-sale expectations for their latest flagship phones, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
Despite these higher expectations, Koh Dong-jin, president of Samsung's handsets business, indicated that pre-sales are already higher than what Samsung execs predicted. No specific numbers were shared, nor was any explanation offered.
Industry speculation suggests that the return of the microSD slot and the IP68 water resistance could have been determining factors in the larger pre-order popularity of this generation of Samsung. What do you folks think is the reason.
