Sometimes you find strange happenings in technology. The latest example is a new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 that just passed through the United States FCC with 4G LTE equipped. Normally there would be nothing strange about any of that, but in this instance, the 4G LTE radio that is equipped on this device will only work in a few countries like South Korea, but not in the US. This probably isn't the first time this has happened and likely won't be the last either.

Sound off with your theories ad to why this was brought before the U.S. FCC.

my guess would be something to do with patents?
