It is possible that we will see the Galaxy Tab 7.7 WiFi Version from Samsung sometime before the holidays. The device just passed through its FCC certification. Its model number is the GT-P6810, and because the FCC docs didn't mention any carrier, brand or radio, the deduction is that it is the WiFi only version. According to reports, even though it did pass through the FCC certs, this tab could actually have some hurdles to jump before it makes its way to the U.S. consumer. This is the tablet that was barred from being shown at the IFA Conference in Berlin and is being specifically targeted by Apple for patent infringement. We'll just have to play "wait and see" until we know more.
