Speaking of smartwatches, new reports out of Korea are suggesting that Samsung is working on another Watch-Phone. Despite the fact that the battery technology just hasn't evolved enough yet to make an actual watch-phone useable (without being bulky and annoying), it looks like Sammy is pressing forward. That's not a bad thing, however. If companies don't continue to push the envelope then we will never get to that "Dick Tracy" style video watch that many tech-heads dream about.

Just as before with the Samsung SPH-WP10, it is expected that this Watch-Phone will only be available on the Korean network SK Telecom. Of course, if it can take off, it's possible we will see it released internationally. The real problem is still the battery issue, but within the next few years, that might be a thing of the past once graphene and other possible battery advances become commercially viable.

Two things.

1) Nobody wants a new line of cellular service for a watch.

2) Only a handful of people I've ever met would consider holding a phone conversation via their wrist.

Yup and you know the big 4 will have no problem selling you it with a line of service. In fact I can see them trying to pull a fast one and "throwing in an accessory" and customers think they got a deal until they see their bill. By then in order to cancel will require an etf.
