It appears that Samsung is dominating the world and the news today. With their announcement of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Galaxy Player 4.2 comes some more great news for air travelers. Please check out the full press release below:
Starting today, Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile), gives millions of Galaxy smartphone and tablet users the opportunity to accessorize their Samsung smartphones and tablets at nearly 20 major airports nationwide. Forty-two APW Brands stores, including Airport Wireless, Techshowcase and Tech Interaction, will now sell Samsung Mobile accessories directly to air travelers looking to outfit their Galaxy devices. Samsung Mobile is increasing its broad accessory distribution with this agreement.
Beginning with a flagship location at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, 19 U.S. airports will feature Samsung Mobile branded areas and video displays within Airport Wireless and Techshowcase stores equipped with a full range of headsets, docking solutions, memory cards and cases designed specifically for the Samsung Galaxy Tab™ and the Samsung Galaxy Note™.
Samsung HM5000 – Exclusive to APW Brands
Additionally, Samsung Mobile introduces its newest Bluetooth accessory, the HM5000, as an exclusive offering to APW Brands. This mini Bluetooth handset was designed with the frequent flier in mind, allowing for an alternative way to answer a phone call for those who do not use Bluetooth headsets, but are always on the go. Its sleek, pen-shaped design fits seamlessly in a shirt or coat pocket, providing users the ability to answer a call even if their phone is tucked away in their briefcase.
